SCOPE

The project is made up of 4 work elements being the civil road works, the refurbishment of the facilities building, single level villas and the loft apartment buildings.

Due to the nature of the deliverables the project utilises a range of systems and approaches to structure, façade, services and finishes which adds a level of complexity in management.

METHOD OF DELIVERY

The project is being delivered under a D&C contract.

Enabling works and construction ensuring that design risk and costs are managed at each stage to achieve the client’s development goals.

CHALLENGES, INNOVATIONS AND ACHIEVEMENTS

Due to the regional location of the project several challenges faced the team including subcontractor procurement, supply planning and site setup.

The project team has also had to manage a heavy purchaser variation programme whereby more than half of the units have some level of customization. A series of registers hold points and site engineers tracking the changes will ensure the successful delivery of the of the extensive list of purchaser requests.
